Director's Message

The Division of Public and Nonprofit Administration at the University of Memphis offers exceptional degree programs for both undergraduate and graduate students.  The Division is part of the School of Urban Affairs and Public Policy, a multi-disciplinary unit of the College of Arts and Sciences.

Our degree programs include:

bulletUndergraduate Nonprofit Management Minor - The Division offers an interdisciplinary minor in Nonprofit Management which includes courses that address competencies necessary for work in nonprofit organizations.  Click here for more information on the nonprofit administration minor.

bulletUndergraduate Minor in Public Administration- For a minor in Public Administration, the student must complete 18 hours in Political Science and Public Administration. Follow this link for more information and required course descriptions.

bulletAmerican Humanics Nonprofit Management Certificate program is nationally accredited and is an important part of the Division's undergraduate leadership development curriculum.

bulletFire Services Program - DPNA assists the University College in offering undergraduate public administration courses as part of the Open Learning Fire Services (OLFS) Program.  Students earn the Bachelor of Professional Studies Degree in Fire Administration or Fire Prevention Technology through the University College.
